Unit Vector
A unit vector is a Vector with exactly magnitude one, which is usually denoted with a tiny cute little hat on top like this:
A unit vector is usually used to represent directions, such as normal directions. Unit vectors are often chosen to form the Basis of a vector space, and as such every vector in the space can be represented with a linear combination of those vectors.
